This is the companion Web site for the book Online Journalism: Principles and Practices of News for the Web (Second Edition).
The main page, which is in the form of a blog, is where I will regularly post updated information, including new and interesting links. The chapters page includes links organized according to categories based on the book. These are the same categories that are used on the main page. The chapters page also includes the QuickLinks, which allow you to instantly access specific sites discussed in the book.
Twice a year (at the end of December and the beginning of August) I will transfer appropriate links from the blog page to the appropriate sections on the chapters page.
You can also subscribe to our RSS feed by clicking the link on the upper right of the page.
I encourage you to contribute to the discussion on the blog page, and to send along any appropriate links you may find.
You can contact me here.

The site looks really awesome, Jim! Great job. And I look forward to reading your blog entries in weeks and months to come.

Hi,
I am a teacher of Digital Journalism and we use your text in my class. Today, I couldn’t access the Book Chapters page of your site…has something changed?
Thanks!

Yes, there is an internal problem with the Web site that is in the process of being corrected.
