A very cool interactive site from the University of Southern California’s Annenberg School. It lets you learn about the redistricting process, one of the least understood aspects of the American Political system. The site lets you see how the system can be abused and learn about reform efforts.

From the University of Nottingham in England, here’s a simple interface idea that really works well: a periodic table of videos. Click any element in the familiar periodic table, and view a video about that element. As a bonus, the videos are both fun and informative.
